Description
A replica of head of what is thought to be Pharaoh Khafre of the 4th Dynasty. Ke was the son of Khufu. Khafre went on to build a Pyramid at Giza along with the Sphinx.
Like another seated statue of Khafre this has the eagle representing Horus perched on the back of his shoulders.
The back of the statue has thew remains of the top of an inscription. 140mm tall. Stone composite construction.
This is a one off item that was once part of the Dr Wayne French Collection.
